ofgarrettdavis: Original lyrics for “Story From North America”, written by me (Garrett Davis) in Nathrop, CO, in 2006. Found this little gem of an artifact yesterday as I was going through some old drawings in my parents basement. I was surprised at how few corrections and changes there are, I must have composed the lines in my head pretty solidly before writing anything down. In the animation when it cuts to the narrator at 2:25, this is the page that you hear being turned - when I recorded it I didn’t have the lyrics memorized yet so I needed to read them off.   I’ve never even seen this!  So cool!  Garrett’s a lyrical+musical geniusssss :D
